Each year a Queen is chosen to preside over the Thresheree. Usually it is a member of the club. In past years, when the club was just getting started and there weren't many female members, the wife of a member was chosen to be Queen of the festivities. In 2006, our 50th Anniversary, we had, for the first time, a King.
